Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

Iranian Bushwalkers

در برنامۀ این هفته، پیمایشی خواهیم داشت به طول پانزده و نیم کیلومتر در حوالی رودخانۀ یارا در منطقۀ واراندایت

 این برنامه قبلا از شمال به جنوب اجرا شده.  اینبار مسیر را از جنوب به شمال می رویم. مسیر، یکطرفه است و کارشافل خواهیم داشت 
ساعت هشت به محل قرار بیایید.  تعدادی از ماشینها را همانجا گذاشته و به اول مسیر می‌رویم.


درجۀ سختی مسیر، در سایت تریل هایکینگ، سه یا همان متوسط ارزیابی شده
کفش و لباس و کولۀ مناسب، نوشیدنی و تنقلات به اندازۀ کافی، ناهار،محافظت در برابر آفتاب و لوازم شخصی فراموش نشود.

Yarra River Heritage Walk 

Length: 7.6 km
Elevation gain: 326 m
Route type: Loop
Grade: Moderate (based on All Trails)

Try this 7.6-km loop trail near Pentland Hills, Victoria. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

The Wadawurrung and Wurundjeri Peoples are the Traditional Owners of the region where the Werribee Gorge State Park is nestled. This short circuit begins from Meikles Point Picnic Area and is a beautiful route along the Werribee River and is well-signed – walkers can travel the circuit in either direction, but anti-clockwise is recommended.
 
There are a few technical areas requiring some scrambling and a short cliff section with cables along an exposed rock face, but they’re not too difficult to manoeuvre. When traveling anti-clockwise from Meikles Point you will reach a junction with the Centenary Walk around 2km, turn left here to stay on the gorge circuit or turn right and extend your hike with a trip to Island Lookout. Be sure to bring your bathers as there are great swimming opportunities at Lionshead and Needles Beach along the river.

In this event, a few decisions need to be made, which come as below:
1. To decide the number of ordinary members of the Committee AGM wishes to hold office for the next year.
2. To elect the members of the Committee as below.
The Committee consists of

- a Vice-President; and

3. To confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting and of any special general meeting held since then
4. To confirm or vary the amounts (if any) of the annual subscription and joining fee.
5. To receive and consider the annual report of the Committee on the activities of the Association during the preceding financial year
6. To receive and consider the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year submitted by the Committee in accordance with Part 7 of the Act

Annual General Meeting Iranian Bushwalkers 2022

برنامه هایک درجه +۴ این هفته در یکی از مسیرهای کم تردد و چالشی منطقه لردردرگ برگزار خواهد شد.
 این برنامه تنها مناسب افرادی است که به دنبال  هیجان و مسیرهای متفاوت هستند، 
مشکلی با عبور از رودخانه ندارند و از مار نمی‌ترسند.

 مسیر دارای شیب تند رو به پایین و بالا و عبور از مناطق صخره ایست و
**به همراه داشتن کفش و باتوم کوهنوردی و پوشیدن گتر الزامی است**.
این برنامه کاملا به صورت تفریحی برگزار خواهد شد و به علت توقف های متعدد در نقاط مختلف مسیر برای استفاده از مناظر طبیعی،آبتنی، عکس گرفتن و استراحت، کل روز شنبه را در بر خواهد گرفت.

از علاقه مندان به برنامه های طبیعت گردی دعوت میکند برای برنامه ریزی  شش ماهه  دوم سال 2023  در این جلسه حضور به هم رسانند. از تمامی داوطلبان جدید یا قدیمی برای ارایه برنامه های جدید مشتاقانه استقبال خواهد شد. 
در این جلسه عزیزانی که تمایل به آشنایی به روند برنامه ریزی را دارند و یا پیشنهاداتی برای برنامه ها دارند هم می توانند  تشریف بیارورند که ما هم از همکاری و ایده های آنها استفاده کنیم.

۱. تمدید عضویت لیدرهایی که در طی سال، سه برنامه برگزار کنند، رایگان خواهد بود.

برنامه ریزی شش ماهۀ دوم سال 2023

برنامه این هفته در منطقه Taggerty در فاصله حدود ۲ ساعتی از مرکز ملبورن برگزار خواهد شد. افرادی که تمایل به همراهی دارند بایستی جزو اعضا دایم طبیعت گردی باشند و در برنامه های درجه چهار قبلی تجربه حضور داشته باشند. برنامه از نوع چهار درجه سنگین با شیب بالاست و داشتن لوازم هایکینگ ضروری است. لطفا درصورتی که ترس از ارتفاع دارید در این برنامه شرکت نکنید.

طول مسیر: ۱۵ کیلومتر

درجه سختی: چهار 

ارتفاع فراز و فرود: ۷۲۱ متر

Description: It is quite a scenic walk with a few steep hills to get the lungs going. The tracks follow vehicle management tracks. The area is still regenerating from the tragic fires.

Essentials to bring: Warm clothes, rain jacket or poncho, anti-leech spray, enough food and water as you deem necessary, first aid kit, suitable hiking gear including boots, socks, backpack, sunscreen, and the like., extra clothes in the car to change up in case we encounter heavy rain, good mood, punctuality.

با سلام

Mount Donna Buang از مسیری که قراره این هفته بریم بسیار مسیر دشواریه، حدود ۷ کیلومتره که رفت و برگشتش میشه ۱۴ کیلومتر با الویشن ۱۲۵۰ متر که پرواضحه شیب تندی رو تجربه میکنیم.      
 زمانیکه به قله برسیم و کمی قبل از اون به احتمال قوی برف خواهیم داشت-پارسال که برف داشت-، درجه‌ی سختی هایک به باور من ۴+ هست و به همین دلیل ترجیح دادم که انتخابی باشه و فقط کسانی اجازه‌ی حضور پیدا میکنن که به نظر من توانش رو داشته باشن، پس لازمه که سعادت آشنایی با شما رو از قبل داشته باشم و همچنین عضو دایم باشین.                  
علاوه بر خوراکی، آب و کفش و لباس مناسب بهتره عصای هایک هم داشته باشین چون فک میکنم مسیر برگشت به شدت لیز باشه.
