About
Club software that costs
your club nothing to run.
ClubCP is a club management platform we build and maintain. It is free for a club to run, with no subscription, no per-member charge and no feature held back behind a paid tier. If it saves your club time, you can keep it going by sponsoring it.
Who is behind it
We are a small team, working from the United Kingdom. ClubCP started as a tool for a community we were part of and grew into something other clubs found useful. We keep building it because real clubs use it every week. There is no investor behind it and no sales team, which is why the roadmap is driven by what clubs actually ask for.
What ClubCP does
A small, focused set of features that cover what most clubs actually need:
- Member profiles and roles
- Membership plans, free and paid
- Events with RSVPs, paid tickets and door check-in
- Posts, announcements and member messaging
- Stripe payments, settled to your club's own account
- An admin insights dashboard
Why it's free for your club
Most club software bills per member and locks the features a club actually needs behind a paid tier. Small clubs end up running on spreadsheets and group chats. ClubCP exists so that does not have to happen. There are no per-seat fees, no upsell tiers, and no “contact sales” pages.
We make money in one place only: when a club sells a paid ticket or a paid membership, we charge 5% of that payment plus a fixed 80 cents, reduced to 40 cents on payments under 20.00, in the club's own currency. For an Australian club that is 5% + A$0.80, or 5% + A$0.40 under A$20. Free tickets and free memberships cost nothing at all.
Who pays that fee
By default the buyer does. The fee is added to the checkout as its own “Service fee” line, shown before anyone commits to paying, and your club receives the full price it set. That is the same model Eventbrite, Humanitix and TryBooking use. A club that would rather absorb it can switch the fee to come out of its payout instead, from its payment settings. Part of the fee covers what Stripe charges us to process the payment, and the checkout screen shows that split.
The full picture, including what happens on a refund, is in the Terms and Conditions.
How it's funded
Servers, domains and email delivery cost real money, and the service fee on paid tickets does not cover a platform on its own. If ClubCP helps your club, sponsoring keeps it online and gives us time to keep improving it.
