Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

To receive and consider the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year submitted by the Committee in accordance with Part 7 of the Act

This is the second section of the Surf Coast walk starting from Bells Beach. It will be a 15-kilometer Grade 3 walk with a car shuffle. Please be there on time at 8:45 am to avoid delay in the car shuffle. Please also bring enough water, a sun-protective hat, and food for lunch. Hopefully, we will enjoy beautiful weather in a sunny coastal walk near the ocean.

Surf Coast Walk 2

Grade: 3 Loop (under rain: 3+)

مسیر این هفته در فاصله حدود 62 کیلومتری از مرکز شهر و در جنوب غربی ملبورن (یو ینگز نشنال پارک) ، به طول تقریبی 13.8 کیلومتر و فراز و فرود حدود 563 متر در نظر گرفته شده که درجه سختی آن با نوجه به پیش بینی بارندگی در این هفته +3 از 5 برآورد می‌شود.

بنظر میرسه آخر هفته‌ی بارانی داشته باشیم و مسیر احتمالا لغزنده  خواهد بود. به همراه داشتن کفش مناسب هایکینگ، **بارانی یا پانچو** و چوب دستی از الزامات شرکت دراین برنامه است. داشتن خوراکی و آب کافی هم طبق معمول توصیه می‌شود.

 ساعت 8:30 در محل شروع خواهیم بود و پس از 15 دقیقه آماده سازی شروع به حرکت میکنیم

Flinders West Northern Saddle Loop

در برنامه این هفته به قله ی جو کوچولو، در طبیعت زیبای واربرتون، به فاصله 75 کیلومتری از مرکز ملبورن خواهیم رفت.
ساعت شروع 8:30 صبح.
مدت پیش بینی شده: حدود 5 ساعت.
مسافت: حدود 12 کیلومتر
نوع مسیر: سر و ته یکی
میزان فراز و فرود: 652 متر
درجه دشواری بر اساس معیارهای تبیین شده توسط کوهنوردان ویکتوریا: 4
مهمه که دقت کنیم که این درجه بندی داده ای گسسته نیست و دربرگیرنده یک طیف هست و برای تشخیص درست اینکه برای هر فرد چه درجه ای و چه طولی از مسیر مناسبه، خودِ فرد بهترین گزینه است. امیدوارم عکس و نوشتاری که پیوست می شه، بتونه در درک میزان آسونی یا دشواری مفید باشه.

به اطلاع علاقمندان به اسنورکلینگ می‌رسانیم که در روز شنبه ۱۳ ژانویه، یک برنامه اسنورکلینگ گروهی در منطقه ریکتز پوینت برگزار خواهد شد. منطقه ریکتز پوینت، یکی از بهترین مناطق برای اسنورکل در ویکتوریا است و مطابق پیش‌بینی هوا، روز شنبه ۱۳ ژانویه، روز مناسبی برای اسنورکلینگ است.

برای راحتی شما علاقمندان، تمامی اطلاعات مربوط به اسنورکلینگ، تجهیزات لازم، نقشه منطقه، مراقبت‌ها و نکاتی که باید برای امنیت خودتان و محافظت طبیعت در نظر داشته باشید، در فایل پی دی اف ضمیمه شده است. توصیه می‌شود حتماً این فایل را مطالعه کنید. همچنین، یک ویدیو در رابطه با تجهیزات اسنورکل و انتخاب و خرید تجهیزات به زبان فارسی در یوتیوب بارگذاری شده است که می‌توانید از آن استفاده کنید.
ساعت شروع برنامه ۱۰ صبح خواهد بود و لطفاً سعی کنید به موقع در محل حاضر باشید تا امکان انجام فعالیت گروهی و حضور در بریفینگ برنامه را از دست ندهید. همچنین، لطفاً کرم ضد آفتاب، مایعات و آب به میزان کافی را همراه خود داشته باشید. محل برنامه را می‌توانید از طریق لینک لوکیشن گوگل دریافت کنید. تعداد ظرفیت شرکت‌کنندگان برای این برنامه ۲۰ نفر هستند.
در صورتی که با کودکان برای برنامه شرکت می‌کنید، نظارت و همراهی یک نفر بزرگسال در تمام مدت اسنورکل برای هر کودک الزامی است. همچنین، استفاده از جلیقه نجات و یا نودل برای کودکان یا بزرگسالان در صورتی که توانایی شنا کردن ندارند، قویاً توصیه می‌شود.

Ricketts Point Marine Sanctionary Snorkelling

نكته مهم: اين برنامه درجه سختي ٤ هست كه نيازمند امادگي بدني و تجربه بالا هست و با توجه به دماي بالا هوا براي افراد كم تجربه و يا امادگي بدني نامناسب ميتواند خيلي خطرناك باشد. 
با توجه به دماي بالا تمام تلاش خود را خواهم كرد تا برنامه با سرعت بالا و با كمترين استراحت در زمان كمتري به پايان برسد. آب زياد فراموش نشود.  
 در برنامه این هفته سری خواهیم زد به طبیعت زیبای Dandenong Ranges National Park.

مسیر چهارده کیلومتری را که شامل هفتصد و هشتاد متر صعود و هفتصد و هشتاد متر فرود به شکل لوپ در پیش داریم

طبق پیشبینی فعلی هواشناسی هوایی مناسب و ماکسیمم هفده درجه رو خواهیم داشت 

شرکت دربرنامه مخصوص اعضا و با تایید سرپرستی خواهد بود

Dear Friends,

This Saturday, we will visit Daylesford, approximately 114 kilometers northwest of Melbourne. We will do a 16-kilometer moderate grade 3+ walk, with 350m ascending and descending. Hopefully, we will have mostly sunny weather based on the weather forecast. Please bring lunch, water, suncream, and hiking equipment.  Daylesford usually has beautiful scenery in Autumn, and we are looking forward to enjoying our walk on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you.
