Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

وسایل مورد نیاز: لباس، کفش و کوله مناسب، کرم ضد آفتاب، وسایل آبتنی، بسته کمک های اولیه، آب به میزان کافی، کارت شناسایی، کارت حمل و نقل، خوراکی های خوشمزه، و دیگر افزار شخصی.

با شرکت داوطلبانه در این برنامه، به عنوان یکی از فعالیت‌های گروه طبیعت‌گردی، من آگاهم که شرکت من در این فعالیت ممکن است مرا در معرض خطرات و اتفاقاتی قرار دهد که باعث صدمه، بیماری و یا حتی مرگ من یا باعث از دست دادن اموالم یا خسارت به آن‌ها شود. به منظور به حداقل رساندن خطرات، من تلاش خواهم کرد تا مطمئن شوم که: این فعالیت در حد توان من می‌باشد. من غذا و آب کافی و تجهیزات مناسب برای این برنامه را حمل می‌کنم. هر گونه دارویی را که مصرف می‌کنم یا هر گونه محدودیت فیزیکی یا غیرۀ خود را که ممکن است بر شرکت من در این برنامه تاثیر بگذارد به سرپرست برنامه اطلاع خواهم داد. تمام تلاش خود را خواهم کرد که در طول برنامه، همراه با بقیۀ شرکت‌کنندگان باشم. هر مشکل و نگرانی داشته باشم، به سرپرست برنامه اطلاع خواهم داد، و تمامی دستورالعمل‌های معقول مسؤولین گروه و سرپرست برنامه را رعایت خواهم کرد. من این مقررات را خوانده و فهمیده‌ام. من قبل از تصمیم به امضای این تعهدنامۀ پذیرش خطر و مسؤولیت، خطرات را ارزیابی کرده‌ام. من هنوز می‌خواهم که در این برنامه شرکت کنم. من می‌پذیرم که با امضای این فرم، مسؤولیت کارهای خودم را بر عهده می‌گیرم.

Acknowledgement of Risks and Obligations of Temporary and Yearly Members
In voluntarily participating in this event an activity of Iranian Bushwalkers Club which has been described by the activity leader, I am aware that my participation in this activity may expose me to hazards and risks that could lead to injury, illness or death or to loss of or damage to my property. In particular when participating in abseiling or above the snowline activities I am aware that these activities expose me to additional hazards and risks.
To minimise risks I will endeavour to ensure that:
Each activity is within my capabilities
I am carrying food, water and equipment appropriate for the activity. (https://bushwalkingvictoria.org.au/equipment) In addition:
I will advise the activity leader if I am taking any medication or have any physical or other limitation that might affect my participation in the activity
I will make every effort to remain with the rest of the party during the activity
I will advise the leader of any concerns I am having, and
I will comply with all reasonable instructions of club officers and the activity leader.
I have received at least two doses of Covid Vaccine and have no symptoms. I have read and understood these requirements. I have considered the risks before choosing to sign this acknowledgement of risk. I still wish to join this activity. I accept that in signing this form I will take responsibility for my own actions and also acknowledge that I have been granted temporary (day-long) or yearly membership of the above named club for the duration of this event only.
