Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

ین برنامه رو طناز پارسال اجرا کرد چون من از مسیر خوشم اومد و نزدیک هم هست برای این هفته انتخابش کردم.  
 مسیر خیلی سخت به نظر نمیرسه اما با توجه به اینکه اگر پلهای تو مسیر تو بارندگی‌های قبلی از بین رفته باشند مجبور میشیم به آب بزنیم و از رودخونه رد بشم باید آمادگیش رو داشته باشید و این برنامه مناسب کودکان زیر ۱۶ سال نیست.

Bushwalking Plenty Gorge

دربرنامه این هفته به طبیعت زیبا Mount Beenak خواهیم رفت برای پیاده روی و لذت بردن از منطقه.

  در نظر داشته باشید برای شرکت در این برنامه ، شما نیاز به قدرت بدنی کافی برای شرکت در یک برنامه درجه ۴ را دارید.

نکته: کودکان ونوجوانان تا ۱۶ سال نیاز به تیکت ندارند.

Mount Beenak Loop

با سلام ودرود  فروان به عزیزان ورزشکاران در این برنامه  پیش به سوی کله قند  یا همان  Sugarloaf and Christmas Hills یک پیاده‌روی نسبتا آسان در اطراف مخزن Sugarloaf با یک یا دو صعود متوسط ​​است. مسیر نسبتاً به خوبی با مناظر عالی، کانگوروهای فراوان و گهگاه گوزن مشخص شده است. پیاده‌روی از منطقه پیک‌نیک سد سدل و پارک خودرو در جاده سیمپسون آغاز می‌شود. از دیوار Reservoir به سمت شرق عبور می کنید و در مسیر Ironbark Ridge به خوبی شکل گرفته تا منطقه پیک نیک ریج ادامه می دهیم .در طول مسیر از کوه گراهام، Rosella Spur، Eagle Point (بلندترین نقطه پارک)، Cockatoo Knoll، Plover Point، Finger Ridge، Sugarloaf Hill و دیوار سد Sugarloaf با بالاترین نقاط با مناظر شهر و Yarra عبور خواهید کرد. دره. در بیشتر مواقع وقتی از میان بوته زارهای باز و مناطق چوبی تری عبور می کنید، آب در دید شما قرار دارد. با درجه سختی ۳ حدود ۱۵ کیلومتر،
برای داشتن تنی سالم در این پیاده روی لطفا یادتون نره لباس مناسب وکفش کوه نوردی ویک کوله خوشمزه با نهار ،اب و  چای فراوان برای خودتان یادتون نره . ودرجه هوا۱۳  سرد زمستانی .

The Sugarloaf and Christmas Hills Circuit is a relatively easy hike around the Sugarloaf Reservoir with one or two modest climbs. The route is fairly well defined with great views, plenty of kangaroo's and the occasional deer. The hike commences at the Saddle Dam Picnic Area and car park on Simpson Road. Cross the Reservoir wall to the east and continue on the well formed Ironbark Ridge track to the Ridge Picnic Area. The official trail does not continue beyond this point however the route is clearly marked with orange markers as it circumnavigates the reservoir. Along the route you will pass Mount Graham, Rosella Spur, Eagle Point (the highest point in the park), Cockatoo Knoll, Plover Point, Finger Ridge, Sugarloaf Hill and the Sugarloaf Dam Wall with the highest points providing views of the city and Yarra Valley. At most times the water is within view as you walk through open bushland and more heavily timbered areas.

Sugarloaf and Christmas Hills Circuit is a 15km, grade 3 hike located in the Sugarloaf Reservoir Park, Victoria. The hike should take around 4 hrs to complete.

please don't forget to wear suitable clothes, hiking shoes, and a delicious backpack with lunch, water, and plenty of tea for yourself.
