Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

در اولین روز سال نوی میلادی به باغ نیلوفرهای آبی می‌رویم تا هم از دیدار باغ لذت ببریم و هم از دیدار یکدیگر! ساعت کار باغ، ده صبح تا پنج بعدازظهر است ولی ما اول وقت می‌رویم تا کمتر به شلوغی بخوریم. ورودی باغ برای بزرگسالان، بیست و پنج دلار و برای کودکان زیر پانزده سال رایگان می‌باشد. بلیط خود را می‌توانید به صورت آنلاین از وبسایت باغ تهیه کنید یا همانجا حضوری هر کدام که راحت‌ترید.

در برنامه این هفته به قله ی جو کوچولو، در طبیعت زیبای واربرتون، به فاصله 75 کیلومتری از مرکز ملبورن خواهیم رفت.
ساعت شروع 8:30 صبح.
مدت پیش بینی شده: حدود 5 ساعت.
مسافت: حدود 12 کیلومتر
نوع مسیر: سر و ته یکی
میزان فراز و فرود: 652 متر
درجه دشواری بر اساس معیارهای تبیین شده توسط کوهنوردان ویکتوریا: 4
مهمه که دقت کنیم که این درجه بندی داده ای گسسته نیست و دربرگیرنده یک طیف هست و برای تشخیص درست اینکه برای هر فرد چه درجه ای و چه طولی از مسیر مناسبه، خودِ فرد بهترین گزینه است. امیدوارم عکس و نوشتاری که پیوست می شه، بتونه در درک میزان آسونی یا دشواری مفید باشه.
وسایل مورد نیاز: کفش و کوله مناسب، کرم ضد آفتاب، آب کافی، و خوراکی های خوشمزه، اسپری ضد زالو، لباس ضد باران، لباس گرم، عصای نورد، پاچه بند نورد، وسایل کمکهای اولیه، کارت شناسایی، و دیگر افزار شخصی.
