Publicly open to all nature-lovers, we are proudly the first bushwalking group established by Victorian residents of Iranian backgrounds. Affiliated by Bushwalking Victoria, Iranian Bushwalkers (IB) is a non-profit club whose main activities with insurance coverage include: 
- Hiking 
- Bushwalking 
- Social Activities 

We provide weekly day walks across Victoria, mostly within 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne metropolitan area. Our activities are open not only to the members but to the guest walkers who would like to participate in a range of physical and social activities that IB has to offer to suit different levels of hiking experience. Multi-day intra and interstate trips are also on the list. 

Whilst most of the walks are single-day activities held on Saturdays, we also run camping and sightseeing on weekends and public holidays. In addition, there are regular social gatherings such as celebrating cultural events and occasions and from time to time we organise push-biking, rock climbing, cave abseiling, motor-biking, and so forth. More on the socially active side, IB holds monthly book review gatherings where people can share ideas on a given book, as well as movie sessions run once a month when a great number of critics and movie fans come together to delve into a cinema-focused evening. 

Moreover, IB proudly takes part and collaborates in multiple charity events all-year-long such as Helping Feet and BTAC Track Cleaning. Club’s activities have a strong social element to them which encourages the healthy habit of a physically active lifestyle and promotes diversity.

Event 559 - Brisbane Ranges National Park

Length: 7.6 km
Elevation gain: 326 m
Route type: Loop
Grade: Moderate (based on All Trails)

Try this 7.6-km loop trail near Pentland Hills, Victoria. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

The Wadawurrung and Wurundjeri Peoples are the Traditional Owners of the region where the Werribee Gorge State Park is nestled. This short circuit begins from Meikles Point Picnic Area and is a beautiful route along the Werribee River and is well-signed – walkers can travel the circuit in either direction, but anti-clockwise is recommended.
 
There are a few technical areas requiring some scrambling and a short cliff section with cables along an exposed rock face, but they’re not too difficult to manoeuvre. When traveling anti-clockwise from Meikles Point you will reach a junction with the Centenary Walk around 2km, turn left here to stay on the gorge circuit or turn right and extend your hike with a trip to Island Lookout. Be sure to bring your bathers as there are great swimming opportunities at Lionshead and Needles Beach along the river.

Bushwalking 588 - Werribee Gorge Circuit Walk

. برنامه این هفته در منطقه ای بسیار زیبا در دندنوگ رنجرز در  شرق ملبورن انجام خواهد شد.
در مسیر درختان و پرنده های زیبا رو در کنار برکه آب و آبشار خواهیم دید. 
اگر خوش شانس باشیم شاید خرچنگ هم ببینیم و از یک باغ معروف هم عبور می کنیم. 
بعد از نهار یکم پیاده روی میکنیم و در یک کافی شاپ جالب تجدید قوا میکنیم

کفش مقاوم در برابر نفوذ آب، گیترز، شلوار و لباس مقاوم در برابر آب و حشرات الزامی میباشد. 

اسپری محافظ در برابر پشه ، کرم ضد آفتاب، آب و نهار همراه داشته باشیم

 مسیر بخاطر بارندگی های اخیر مرطوب و گل آلود می باشد و دارای 3 شیب تند می باشد که مناسب کسانی که آسیب دیدگی زانو دارند نمی باشد. 

طول مسیر بین 16 تا 21 کیلومتر می باشد ودرجه سختی این برنامه  4می باشد

Bushwalking 574 - Mount Little Joe

در برنامۀ این هفته، پیمایشی خواهیم داشت به طول پانزده و نیم کیلومتر در حوالی رودخانۀ یارا در منطقۀ واراندایت

 این برنامه قبلا از شمال به جنوب اجرا شده.  اینبار مسیر را از جنوب به شمال می رویم. مسیر، یکطرفه است و کارشافل خواهیم داشت 
ساعت هشت به محل قرار بیایید.  تعدادی از ماشینها را همانجا گذاشته و به اول مسیر می‌رویم.


درجۀ سختی مسیر، در سایت تریل هایکینگ، سه یا همان متوسط ارزیابی شده
کفش و لباس و کولۀ مناسب، نوشیدنی و تنقلات به اندازۀ کافی، ناهار،محافظت در برابر آفتاب و لوازم شخصی فراموش نشود.

Yarra River Heritage Walk

Bushwalking 566- Rubicon Valley

این یک برنامه جایگزین برای برنامه ی Lorne بود ، که بخاطر بارش های اخیر تبدیل به رودخانه شده است.
در رودخانه های Brisbane Range  معمولا جویندگان طلا هم میبینیم. اگر لایسنس مربوط به این کار را دارید، شانس تان را امتحان کنید..
دو هفته پیش این مسیر رو من برای بازدید رفتم جاهایی که باید از آب رد بشیم در حد نهر می باشند – زیر مچ پا - و راهپیمایی متوسطی دارد. این مسیر حدود 18 کیلومتر می باشد ولی اگر هوا مناسب نباشد مسیر 13 کیلومتری را می رویم. 
روز شنبه در حال حاضر بارانی پیشبینی می شود برای همین لباس مناسب باران داشته باشید. شیب تند در دو یا سه منطقه داریم و ولی کوتاه می باشد.
اکثر مسیر شیب ملایمی دارد که برای زانو و کمر ورزشکاران مناسب می باشد

طول مسیر فعلا 18 کیلومتر،فراز و فرود مسیر 613 متر و نوع مسیر هم حلقوی و درجه سختی 3+ می باشد

Brisbane Range Circuit

سلام دوستان
قرار بود این هفته بریم کتیدرال ولی هنوز بسته است و به ناچار یه مسیر دیگه رو انتخاب کردم. چند تا مسیر رفتم که هیچکدوم مطلوب نبود و مجبور شدم یه مسیری که قبلا نرفتم رو انتخاب کنم.
این هفته میریم یارا رنجز، مدت زمان در نظر گرفته شده 7 ساعت و نوع مسیر حلقویه.
طول مسیر 18 کیلومتره و الویشن گین هم 810 متره ولی توسایت تریلزهایکینگ گریدش رو 3 زده ولی خودم فکر میکنم 4 به واقعیت نزدیکتره، سوای درجه بندیها مسیر راحتی نیست ولی امیدوارم در کنار هم روز خوبی داشته باشیم.

زمان شروع برنامه 8:30 صبح، لطفا دیر تشریف نیارین که سرموقع شروع کنیم.
