When Sporty is the better choice
No tool wins for everyone. Sporty is the stronger pick when:
- You run a competition rather than a club calendar. Sporty's SKED handles fixtures, results, standings tables and live game-day scoring, and ClubCP does none of it.
- Your treasurer wants payments and registrations flowing into Xero or MYOB automatically.
- You want someone to build the site for you and a phone number to call when it breaks. Sporty has a helpdesk and a design team, and ClubCP is email support from a small team.
- You are a school or a governing body that needs official national-body registration forms or a multi-level database across affiliated clubs.

The free Sporty plan also shows Sporty's advertising on your website and in the app, and limits you to 2 administrators and 2 forms.
Is ClubCP a full replacement for Sporty?
Not if you run competitions. Sporty does draws, results, standings and game-day scoring, and it syncs to Xero and MYOB, none of which ClubCP does. We would rather tell you that now than have you find out after moving. If what you run is members, events, ticketing and messaging, ClubCP covers it at no cost.
If ClubCP is free, what happens to my club if it goes away?
A fair question to ask of anything free, and the honest answer is that you should never be locked in. Your members, events and payment records are exportable at any time, payments run through your own Stripe account rather than ours, and your club's data is yours to take elsewhere.
